<description>this is out of context - but ive been reading ur posts and feel that you might be able to help me out with this! I dont have ur email - so im taking the liberty of posting my blurb here-

I&#039;m currently working on a paper describing the relationship between &quot;Psychology&quot; and &quot;India&quot;...(im studying at York University, Canada)
While academic journals are great sources of information in the field..
I&#039;m finding it a little difficult to add a common man (person)&#039;s perspective on the field in India.

So,
Could you please take out a bit of a time ...
and give me your opinion or perspective on psychology as a field (of study/science) in India?

Things like -
What does psychology, as a field, mean in India?
Where do you see influences of psychology based research in India?
Does it play a significant role?
Should it evolve to play a significant role?
How do you think psychology can contribute in the Indian context?
Would you go to a therapist, if recommended?
What should the priorities of research in psychology be?

The comment box might be a little inadequate to answer all of these questions...
feel free to drop me a line at [rituchokshi(at)gmail(dot)com]
I&#039;d really appreciate your input.

thanks!
