Short break in Cherai
After being away for so long in semi-isolation, I was just not ready to face the real world… I needed some “bridge time” to get used to noise and crowds. And the fact that my husband was going to be away when I came back to Bombay did not make things any easier. I could not bear the prospect of returning to an empty – and dusty- house. So I stayed over for two short days at the Cherai Beach Resort, situated between the beach and the backwaters.
